Caitlin McCarthy currently lives in Northern California with her daughter and feline familiar. She is a graphite artist and illustrator who studied art at Dominican University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art.

Since a young age Caitlin has been interested in magic and using art as a tool to explore it. Her work often features visions of dark dreamy women in the form of seers, mystics, goddesses, monsters and witches. Channeling her fascination with Victorian sensibilities and the occult, her drawings invoke themes of feminine power and create an otherworldly atmosphere. Caitlin is the creator of The Dark Goddesses Oracle Deck, which features empowering messages from 60 goddesses around the world. When she's not drawing, she enjoys reading about dark history and mythology, tending to her cottage garden, curating her haunted house, travel and cemetery exploration.
